This is such a trip planned by Footloose Holidays, beginning from the national capital and deepening your excitement as you look at these timeless monuments and then reaching Agra, the city of Mughals which houses something so pristine and beautiful as true love in the structure of white marble. This trip offers more peace and solace as we leave the crowds behind and head for hills, mountains, valleys, snow and infinite picturesque views and moments. Finally, we come to a well planned and impeccably maintained city in the plains that will not take away the peaceful feeling as this city enchants its visitors with its magic wand.

  • Day 1 Delhi

    On arrival at Delhi Airport or Railway Station, you will be meeting Footloose Holidays representative who will escort you to your hotel. Freshen up and utilise rest of your day to venture out a bit and get an impression of this magnificent capital city called Delhi. If history interests you then no other place can display such colourful and rich history like Delhi in the form of all the architectural wonders like Rajpath, the imposing India Gate, Parliament House, Rastrapathi Bhavan which is President’s Residence. Afterwards, you can also enjoy a drive through the Diplomatic Enclave.

  • Day 2 Delhi – Agra – Delhi (550km round trip):

    Post your breakfast, it is time to explore this Mughal capital city called Agra. En route, visit Mathura, a small town known as abode of Lord Krishna with temples like Iskcon Temple and Baken Bihari Temple, built-in veneration. Also visit Sikandra Fort, located at the periphery of Agra city, built as the last resting place of Mughal Emperor Akbar; showcases many facets of his wonderful personality. Arrive at Agra and visit Agra Fort and Red Fort, both historical monuments displaying Mughal grandeur at their best. It is also worth the visit to do some shopping from Agra local market. Finally it is time to head back to Delhi. Enjoy your sumptuous dinner along with a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 3 Delhi to Shimla (385 Kms/10 Hrs):

    Following the morning meal, it is time to check-out from the hotel & depart for Shimla, one of the most popular hill stations of the Northern India, also the state capital of Himachal Pradesh located amidst the Shivalik range of mountains. On the way, you can visit Pinjore Gardens, located on Ambala-Shimla highway, known for their amazing Mughal architecture. Another equally interesting place for the sightseer is Timber Trail where you can enjoy the cable car ride in the mountains enjoying the fresh air and the Ariel view of the world. On arrival at Shimla check-in at the hotel, pre-booked for you. Enjoy the delicious dinner at the hotel along with comfortable overnight stay.

  • Day 4 Shimla tour begins:

    Following sumptuous breakfast, it is time to begin sightseeing at Shimla and we drive to Kufri. Kufri is at the outskirts of Shimla, famous for its Himalayan National Park. It is here that you can enjoy your heartfelt desire to play with snow and take a Pony and Yak Ride. Not only this, Kufri offers magnificent Himalayan Panoramic view. After lunch, go in and around Shimla to admire these age old architectural wonders which have withstood the test of time. You cannot miss the mosques (1830), Vice Regal Lodge (1885), Christ Church (1844), the iconic Gaiety Theatre (1887) and The Grind lays Bank (1912). Afterwards, enjoy a stroll between the Mall and the Ridge, known as the Scandal Point. Here, you get an opportunity to shop around for some keepsakes to carry home.

  • Day 5 Shimla to Manali (265 Kms/8 Hrs):

    Post your morning meal; check-out from the hotel to depart for Manali. En route, visit Pandho Dam, built on massive Beas River. Also visit Hanogi Mata Temple. Your heart will surely miss the beat when you see this temple hanging from the cliff. On arrival at Manali, check-in at your hotel. Relax, enjoy dinner and overnight stay in Manali, which has so much to offer to each tourist.

  • Day 6 Manali (local sightseeing):

    After the breakfast, set out for sightseeing of places in and around Manali, like Hadimba Temple located in a cave and held in reverence by the local people is a temple worth visiting. You may also visit Manu Temple, the only temple of Sage Manu. Take a trip around and witness the blend of Hindu and Tibetan culture of Manali when you visit Vashisht Bath, Van Vihar, Tibetan Monastery and Club House. Keep your evening time for shopping at the local market at the Mall Road. Come back to the hotel to enjoy your dinner and a comfortable overnight stay. Brace yourself for another eventful day.

  • Day 7 Rohtang Pass (100 Km round tour):

    Venture out to Rohtang Pass, which is situated at an altitude of 3979 mtrs above sea level and 51kms outside Manali. Rohtang Pass is also known as the gateway to Lahaul and Spiti valleys. It offers a breathtaking view of snow- laden mighty mountains which make you realise the insurmountable strength that the nature personifies. Enjoy the view from the top of the pass where the sun rays seem to glitter against the snow. No one has had ever enough of this place.

  • Day 8 Manali to Chandigarh (320 Kms/10 Hrs):

    After breakfast, as you check-out from the hotel, you would feel how soon these three wonderful days have gone by and now it is time to explore one of the most beautiful cities of India called Chandigarh. On the way, visit Kullu Vaishno Devi Temple which is one everlasting memory of Kullu Valley that you would carry along. You may also take a look at Kullu shawl weaving industry which produces one of the best weaved woollen shawls. Though the journey from Manali to Chandigarh is long but the breathtaking view of the greens around will keep you fresh and energetic and as you enter the City Beautiful, you will fall in love with it at the first sight as this well planned city named after the mother goddess of power, Chandi. On arrival at the booked hotel, enjoy your evening meal and overnight stay in Chandigarh.

  • Day 9 Chandigarh to Delhi (250 Kms/5 Hrs):

    Wake up fresh and rejuvenated to enjoy your breakfast before checking out from the hotel. It is time to explore a few places here before leaving like Rose Garden, adorned with multiple species of roses adding peace and serenity to your soul with this soothing fragrance around you. Coming to Chandigarh is never complete if you do not visit Rock Garden, a manmade wonder built piece by piece single handed by the city artist from the waste products thrown away as waste by the people. Situated close by is the landmark of the city in the form of Sukhna Lake. It surely will leave you philosophical sitting at the steps and listening to the lapping of water. It is time to depart for Delhi where you will be dropped at Railway station/Airport to head for your next destination or home.
