  • Day 1 Arrival at Chennai Airport, Chennai to Tirupati by Road (130KM)

    On arrival at Chennai Airport, you will be greeted and warmly welcomed by Footloose Holidays representative and driven to Tirupati, a city adorned with seven peaks of Tirumala Hills which attracts millions of Hindu pilgrims as it is the abode of lord Venkateshwara.  After checking-in at the pre-booked hotel and freshening up, proceed to visit Sri Venkatachalapathy Temple (Tirumala) also known as Balaji, one of the most revered places in the south, dedicated to a form of lord Vishnu. Not very far, is located Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple dedicated to Goddess Padmavathi. You can also visit Kapila Teertham and Papavinasam Teertham which help you complete your pilgrimage in Tirupati and attain eternal peace. Enjoy the evening meal and overnight stay in the god’s favourite place.

  • Day 2 Tirupati – Vellore (110 km) – Kanchipuram (70km)

    After the sumptuous morning breakfast, its time to check-out from Tirupati and be driven to Kanchipuram. En-route, visit Vellore – Golden temple, which displays unique temple art in its intricate carving and gold covering. Drive to check-in at the hotel at Kanchipuram, an ancient city of the south which is famous for the divine presence in its temples, which are visited with a lot of faith by the devotees. Refresh yourself with a cup of tea or coffee and proceed to pay your obeisance at Kanchi Kamakshi Amman Temple dedicated to Goddess Parvathi. You can also visit these holy places such as Varadharaja Perumal Temple, Kanchi Kailasanathar Temple, Ekambareswarar Temple, and Chembarambakkam Lake. Spare some time for some shopping or some leisure time to relax yourself. Later return to hotel and take a good night sleep to rejuvenate your body and spirits.

  • Day 3 Kanchipuram – Tiruvannamalai (115km)

    Post the appetizing morning meal, check-out from the hotel to be driven to Tiruvannamalai, another of the prominent Hindu pilgrimage towns. Once you have checked-in at the hotel, proceed to visit Arunachaleshwara Temple, located at the foot of Arunachala hills, dedicated to lord Shiva. Feel overwhelmed with the positive aura that you feel around this place called Sri Ramana Ashram. Also enjoy the picturesque view of Virupaksha Cave, Sattanur Dam and Seshadri Swamigal Ashram before you call it a day and decide to spend rest of the evening doing some shopping or your own activities. Later return to the hotel to spend a peaceful night.

  • Day 4 Tiruvannamalai – Trichy (190km)

    Post morning breakfast, it is time to check out and drive to Trichy, also known as Tiruchirapalli which is home to many beautifully built and most often visited temples. After checking-in at the hotel, proceed to visit Ranganathaswamy Temple known for its intricately carved gateways. You must also pay your respects at Ucchi Pillayar Temple, dedicated to lord Ganesha. Its architecture and location is worth admiring. Also visit, another location called Kallanai Dam, built over Kaveri River. You may utilise rest of the time doing shopping or own activities. Later, return to hotel and enjoy goodnight rest at Trichy.

  • Day 5 Trichy – Palani (150km) – Madurai (110km)

    Enjoy early morning breakfast and then check-out and drive to Madurai, famous for the April’s Chitirai Festival. On the way to Madurai, visit Palani where Murugan Temple gives you a picturesque view from the hills. It also attracts millions of pilgrims. After paying your obeisance, drive to Madurai. After checking-in at the pre-reserved hotel, proceed to visit Meenakshi Amman Temple, Koodal Azhagar Temple, Thirupparamkumaran Murugan Temple and Vandiyur Mariamman Teppakulam, all of them will make this temple tour very enriching and fulfilling. Come back to the hotel and enjoy the relaxing stay at the hotel.

  • Day 6 Madurai – Kanyakumari (250km)

    Following the morning breakfast, brace yourself for yet another destination that is not only aesthetically rich but also fill your heart with ultimate divinity. Check-out and enjoy the long drive to Kanyakumari, a coastal town and a noted pilgrimage site. After checking-in at the hotel, proceed to visit Vivekananda Rock Memorial famous for its beautiful location, Thiruvalluvar Statue reminds us of the saint. One cannot miss Padmanabhapuram Palace, Thanumalayan Temple, Kumari Amman Temple and Vattakottai Fort as these destinations will leave everlasting memories in your heart.  Later return to hotel and give yourself a good rest at the hotel.

  • Day 7 Kanyakumari – Rameshwaram (300km)

    Post Morning meal, check-out and drive to Rameshwaram, a very dear place for the devotees who feel that they are absolved of all the sins when they visit this holy place. After checking-in at the hotel, proceed to visit Ramanathaswamy Temple known for its unique architecture and sacred water tanks. It is believed that Agniteertham is the most pious bath situated outside the temple complex. You can also enjoy the breathtaking sight of Pamban Bridge. Shopping and own activities can be enjoyed in the latter half of the day. Later return to hotel and enjoy the fresh air of this sacred town.

  • Day 8 Rameshwaram – Tanjore (245km)

    After a relaxed night, enjoy your morning breakfast and check-out from the hotel. You will be driven to Tanjore, famous not only for its temples but also the rich culture from the Chola Empire that is displayed in its age-old relics and artefacts. After checking in at the pre-booked hotel, take a brief rest and then proceed to visit Brihadeeswara temple displaying its grand Dravidian architecture, dedicated to lord Shiva. Gangaikonda Cholapuram, a town that proudly displays its rich heritage as it was the capital of Chola Dynasty. Also visit Garbarakshambigai Temple and Guru Bhagavan Temple before you return to the hotel overwhelmed with this divine experience. Enjoy your overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 9 Tanjore – Kumbakonam (40 km) – Chidambaram (72km)

    Your morning breakfast can be at leisure today, before you check-out and drive to Chidambaram, a town which gives you a complete package as it has many tourists’ attractions to boast of. On the way to Chidambaram, you can visit Kumbakonam, where you get to pay your respects at Adi Kumbeswarar Temple and the most frequently visited Kasi Viswanathar Temple. You can also visit Vaitheeswaran Temple. Once you reach Chidambaram, check-in at the hotel. Take a short break before you proceed for darshan at Thillai Nataraja Temple and Thillai Kali Amman Temple. Don’t miss the opportunity to visit Pichavaram Mangrove Forest. Rest of the time can be spared for shopping and own activities, etc. Later return to hotel and have a relaxed stay at the hotel.

  • Day 10 Chidambaram – Pondicherry (60 km)

    Post Breakfast, it’s time to say goodbye to Chidambaram, to check-out and be driven to Pondicherry, a French colonial settlement, the legacy of which is preserved in its French quarters, with tree-lined streets and mustard coloured colonial villas. After checking-in at the pre-booked hotel, proceed to visit Arulmigu Manakula Vinayagar Temple a vibrant Hindu temple where you get your blessings from an elephant known for its uniqueness. Feel the serenity around you as you take a stroll at the Seaside Promenade. Also visit Varadharaja Perumal Temple. Evening time is ideal to enjoy the breeze at the beach or do shopping. Later return to the hotel to enjoy a pleasant night at Pudducherry.

  • Day 11 Pondicherry – Mahabalipuram(95 KM) – Chennai (55KM)

    After morning breakfast, check-out from the hotel and bid goodbye to this amazing place to be driven to Chennai.  On the way to Chennai, visit Mahabalipuram and enjoy the temple complex which gives you a visual treat when you look at the Pancha Rathas, Shore Temple, Varaha Cave Temple, Tiger Cave and Thirukadalmallai. Apart from this, it will be altogether a different experience to feel the divine presence at such a stunning location, by sea side. Later drive to check-in at the pre-reserved hotel at Chennai. Enjoy the evening at your own leisure and have a goodnight sleep at Chennai.

  • Day 12 Chennai

    After morning breakfast, proceed to visit destinations in Chennai, state capital of Tamil Nadu which can be said to be the Pandora box of visual treat such as Kapaleeswarar Temple and Vadapalani Murugan Temple and gain that serenity and peace that you had come here to seek. You can also utilise your leisure time to visit San Thome Church, Marina Beach or Besant Nagar Beach. Enjoy your evening for some shopping and own leisure activities. Later, return to hotel for overnight stay at Chennai.

  • Day 13 Departure from Chennai

    After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and get ready to say adios to Detroit of Asia. You will depart to Chennai Airport for onward journey, along with many beautiful memories to be cherished forever.
