As you head for Coorg from here, you are simply mesmerised by the greenery and fresh air of the countryside, leaving you long for more. Before heading back to Bangalore, enjoy the scenic beauty that Mysore has to offer you and take home the South of your dreams.

  • Day 1 Arrival at Bangalore

    On Arrival at Bangalore Airport, you will be greeted and warmly welcomed by Footloose Holidays Representative to be escorted to your pre-booked hotel. After checking-in at the hotel, proceed to visit Lal Bagh or Lal Bagh Botanical gardens, famous for its glass house. It also boasts of largest collection of tropical plants in India. It is yet another enriching experience to visit Cubbon Park, officially called Sri Chamarajendra Park which which has a rich recorded history of flora and fauna plantations coupled with numerous impressive and aesthetically located buildings and statues of famous personages. Animal lovers must hold their breath for Bannerghatta National Park which is a complete package with a zoo, a pet corner,
    an animal rescue center, a butterfly enclosure, an aquarium, a snake house and a safari park. You will be enchanted with this imposing and impressive building of Vidhana Soudha, a seat of Karnataka’s Legislative Assembly.  Return to the hotel to enjoy sumptuous dinner and a good overnight sleep.

  • Day 2 Bangalore – Coorg (by road) 265km

    After the morning breakfast, check-out from the hotel and proceed to Coorg, also known as Kodagu, a rural district of Karnatka. Enjoy this beautiful drive that leads you to one of the picturesque locations in Karnataka. Check-in at the pre-booked Hotel at Coorg, take a short rest, freshen up and visit Golden Temple or Namdroling Monastery, a Buddhist monastery awaits you with its most awe-inspiring beauty, as one of the most popular tourists places to visit and the Buddhist settlement at Bylekuppe which also happens to be the second largest Tibetans settlement in India. Don’t miss out Kaveri Nisargadhama, an island formed by river Kaveri near Kushalnagar, Ecological Park and a Deer Park. Later return to hotel to enjoy the aromatic meal and a pleasant night stay, breath full of fresh country air at Coorg.

  • Day 3 Coorg Tour continues

    After hearty breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing of Madikeri, a hill town known for rice paddies. Visit Omkareshwara Temple, a popular Shrine of Lord Shiva which has a very unusual architecture, unlike any Hindu temple, its construction reflects a mix of gothic and Islamic styles. You will be mesmerised by Abbey Falls, a beautiful water fall located between private coffee plantations with stocky coffee bushes and spice estates. Visit Madikeri Fort, also called Mercara Fort which boasts of flamboyant architecture and displays grandeur in its structure. You can also choose to visit Raja’s Tomb, also called Gaddige and the Raja’s Seat, a seasonal garden of flowers and artificial fountains. It’s time to return to the hotel as delicious dinner and a comfortable stay for the night is very inviting and refreshing.

  • Day 4 Coorg – Mysore (by road) 105km

    After morning breakfast, it is time to say goodbye to this beautiful place and move to our next destination. Check-out from the hotel to be driven to Mysore, officially Mysuru, located in the foothills of Chamunda Hills. After checking-in at a hotel, proceed to visit Brindavan Garden, admired and visited by number of tourists, laid out in terraces which contain water fountains, plants, trees, topiary works, pergola, gazebos, and a beautiful lake. You cannot miss out Mysore Palace, a historical palace and royal residence of Wadiyar dynasty which still emanates a royal and majestic aura. Next is Chamundeshwari Temple, a spectacular Hindu temple located at the top of magnificent Chamunda Hills. You can choose to visit St. Philomena’s Church a catholic church also known as St. Joseoph’s Cathedral, Karanji Lake, Mysore Zoo, Krishna Raja Sagara or Lalitha Mahal. It will be late evening by the time you return to the hotel for a delicious meal and overnight stay.

  • Day 5 Mysore – Bangalore (by road) 145km

    After morning breakfast, you will be checking out and driven to Bangalore. After checking-in at a hotel, proceed to visit incredible Iskcon Temple. Coming to Bangalore gives you an opportunity to witness something from this legendary warrior’s life at Tipu Sultan Summer Palace. Another must visit is Bangalore Fort, which will leave you spellbound in its true grandeur and splendour. Check out Hesaraghatta Lake, a manmade reservoir and Bellandur Lake, the largest lake of the city before you wind up your day. Later, return to the hotel to relax for the evening and enjoy the appetizing dinner and overnight stay.

  • Day 6 Departure from Bangalore

    After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and get ready to say adios to Silicon Valley of India. You will depart to Bangalore Airport for onward journey, along with many sweet and unforgettable memories.
