Itinerary Details

Day 1: Srinagar - Pahalgam (91 km)
Upon arrival at Srinagar Airport, a tour representative from Footloose Holidays will meet you at the airport and transfer you to Pahalgam. You will enjoy a scenic drive from Srinagar to Pahalgam. After reaching, check into the hotel and relax. Spend the day at leisure in the hotel or explore the town on your own. Overnight stay and dinner will be in the hotel.

Day 2: Pahalgam - Chandanwari - Sheshnag (14 km trek)
Have an early breakfast and leave for Chandanwari by road. Our representative will drive you to this place from where you will begin the trek. After the trek, you will get to Pishu Ghati Pass. You will reach Sheshnag, where you will find your tent for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Sheshnag - Panchtarni - Amarnath Cave - Panchtarni
Wake up early in the morning and admire the surroundings. After having your breakfast, start trekking from Sheshnag to Panchtarni. The distance between Sheshnag and Panchtarni is approximately 13-14 km, which will take 5-6 hours. The trek involves ascending to Mahagunas Pass before descending to Panchtarni. After this, you will begin the trek to the holy Amarnath Cave. Upon arrival, you will have the darshan of the holy ice-lingam that every year forms in the same place. After darshan, begin your trek again and reach Panchtarni. Overnight stay will be in a tent here.

Day 4: Panchtarni - Baltal (9 km trek) - Sonamarg (15 km by drive)
Have your breakfast and proceed towards Baltal, which is the camping ground for pilgrims. Once you reach Baltal, completing approximately 9 km trek, our tour representative will wait for you there with a vehicle. He will drive you to Sonamarg. On arrival, you will be transferred directly to the hotel. Check into the hotel and relax. Spend the time at leisure or explore the nearby areas. Overnight stay at the hotel in Sonamarg.

Day 5: Sonamarg to Srinagar (81 km)
Have an early breakfast and check out of the hotel. Our representative will be ready to drive you to Srinagar today. You will reach Srinagar in just 2.5 hours. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and get ready to embark on a sightseeing tour. You will visit the popular attractions of Srinagar, like the Mughal Garden. Enjoy a shikara ride on the tranquil waters of Dal Lake. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Departure from Srinagar
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast in the hotel and check out. The tour representative of Footloose Holidays will drop you off at the airport to board your flight for home or onward destination.
