Badrinath and Kedarnath are the two main Dhams of the four main sacred shrines of Uttarakhand. Badrinath Temple is dedicated to lord Vishnu, and Kedarnath is dedicated to lord Shiva. It is also one of the 12 Jyotirlingas in India. Our 8-day and 7-night Do Dham Yatra package lets you explore the two main sacred shrines of the Char Dham Yatra. The tour begins from Delhi, covering the other holy places like Haridwar, Rishikesh, Gaurikund, Chopta, Rudraprayag, and Devprayag. Our tour package includes comfortable hotel stays, local transport, SUV or Sedan with a trained driver, breakfast and dinner, and airport/station pickup and drop off. The package is ideal for every kind of traveler, from families to groups and senior citizens.
Itinerary Details

Day 1: Delhi - Haridwar - Rishikesh (By Road 240 Kms)
Upon arrival at Delhi airport or railway station, the Footloose Holidays tour representative will receive you and drive you to Rishikesh. You will visit Haridwar enroute to take a holy dip in the Ganga and break for lunch (on your own expense). Proceed to Rishikesh from Haridwar. Check in at the pre-booked hotel and spend the evening at leisure or stroll around the market. Overnight stay and dinner will be in the hotel.

Day 2: Rishikesh - Gaurikund (By Road)
Today, you will be leaving for Gaurikund early in the morning. Our tour representative will drive you to Gaurikund. Check in at the hotel and relax. Enjoy your evening with local sightseeing. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Gaurikund - Kedarnath (14 Km trek)
Today, you will be visiting Kedarnath, the first destination of your Do Dham Yatra. Start your trek early at 4-5 am. The total trek distance from Gaurikund to Kedarnath is 14 km and can take 6-8 hours depending on the pilgrims’ pace. Visit the Kedarnath Temple and attend evening Aarti. Visit the nearby sacred shrines, like Bhairavnath Temple, Adi Shankaracharya Samadhi. You will stay overnight at the hotel in Kedarnath.

Day 4: Kedarnath - Gaurikund (by foot 14 kms), Gaurikund - Chopta (50 kms Drive)
Early morning departure from Kedarnath to Gaurikund. After reaching Gaurikund, our representative will pick you up and drive you to Chopta via Ukhimath. Check in at the hotel in Chopta for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Chopta - Badrinath (170 Kms)
Today, you will be visiting the second and last destination of your Do Dham Yatra—the Badrinath Temple. Early morning drive to Badrinath via Joshimath and Govindghat. Check in at the hotel and relax. Enjoy your evening by visiting nearby places. Night stay in the Badrinath hotel.

Day 6: Badrinath - Rishikesh (300kms/10hrs)
Early morning visit to Badrinath Temple. Take a holy dip in the hot spring of Tapt Kund. After darshan, drive to Rishikesh via Rudraprayag and Devprayag. Check in at the hotel in Rishikesh for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Rishikesh - Delhi
Enjoy your breakfast at leisure. Check out of the hotel and drive back to Delhi. The tour representative of Footloose Holidays will drop you off at the Railway Station or Airport to board your flight/train for home.
