Itinerary Details

• Day 1: Haridwar to Barkot

  Upon arrival at Haridwar Railway Station, the Footloose Holidays tour representative will receive you and drive you to Barkot. Enjoy the scenic drive to Barkot, which will take approximately 4:30 hrs. drive. Upon arrival, you will be taken straight to the pre-booked hotel. Complete the check-in formalities and relax. Located on the bank of the River Yamuna, Barkot is a quaint hill station. Explore the surroundings or rest for the day. Overnight stay and dinner will be in the hotel in Barkot.

• Day 2: Barkot to Yamunotri

  Today, in the early morning at 5-6, our representative will drive to Yamunotri Dham. But you will be dropped off at Janki Chatti, from there you will start your 6 km trek to Yamunotri. You can either trek or book pony/palki to reach the Yamunotri temple. Before the darshan of Goddess Yamuna, bathe in Surya Kund’s warm water. Perform darshan of Yamuna Ji and offer prayers. After darshan, return to your hotel in Barkot for dinner and overnight stay.

• Day 3: Barkot to Uttarkashi

  After an early breakfast, check out from the hotel and leave for Uttarkashi. It is a spiritual town by the Bhagirathi River. You will be transferred to the hotel in Uttarkashi. In the second half of the day, visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, which is one of the sacred shrines in Uttarkashi. Later, return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

• Day 4: Uttarkashi to Gangotri

  Today, early in the morning, our tour representative will drive you to Gangotri via Harsil Valley. It is the place where the helipad is located for the pilgrims coming directly from Dehradun during their Char Dham Yatra by helicopter. Visit the Gangotri Dham and perform pooja at the temple. Here, the Goddess Ganga is worshipped in the temple. Take a holy dip in the river Ganga, as it is the origin of the river Ganga, initially called Bhagirathi. After darshan, drive back to Uttarkashi. Overnight stay and dinner will be at the hotel.

• Day 5: Uttarkashi to Guptkashi

  Have your breakfast and check out of the hotel. Drive to Guptkashi from Uttarkashi and enjoy the scenic view of the Bhagirathi and Mandakini Rivers. Upon arrival, our representative will drive you straight to the pre-booked hotel. Check in for an overnight stay.

• Day 6: Guptkashi to Kedarnath

  You will begin your trek to Kedarnath early at 4-5 am. You can even opt for a helicopter ride, paying additional charges. Reach the Kedarnath shrine and participate in Pooja, darshan, and enjoy the evening aarti at the Kedarnath temple. Overnight stay will be in a nearby hotel or camp in Kedarnath.

• Day 7: Kedarnath to Guptkashi

  Early in the morning, start your trek back to Guptkashi from Kedarnath and explore the nearby areas and shrines, like Bhairavnath Temple, Vasuki Tak, and Gauri Kund. Return to Guptkashi by trek. Overnight stay and dinner will be in the hotel.

• Day 8: Guptkashi to Badrinath

  Check out of the hotel after having a delicious breakfast. The Footloose Holidays tour representative will drive you to Badrinath. Check into the hotel and get refreshed. Take a dip in the holy Tapt Kund, as most pilgrims before visiting the Badrinath temple take a holy dip in this sacred pond. In the evening, visit the Badrinath Temple for lord Vishnu darshan. Apart from this, explore Mana Vyas Gufa or and Brahamakapal, if time permits. Overnight stay and dinner will be in the hotel.

• Day 9: Badrinath to Rudraprayag

  After relishing a heartiest breakfast in the hotel, our tour representative will drive you to Rudraprayag. Enroute, you will be visiting Joshimath to see some famous places there. You will be transferred to Rudraprayag by the evening. Check into the hotel for an overnight stay and dinner.

• Day 10: Rudraprayag to Haridwar Via Rishikesh

  In the morning, the Footloose Holidays tour representative will drive you to Haridwar via Rishikesh. You will enjoy sightseeing at Rishikesh, exploring some famous shrines and ashrams. Later, we will proceed to Haridwar. You will be dropped off at the railway station for your onward journey to your home or other destination.
