Itinerary Details

• Day 1: Pune - Bhimashankar

  Your trip begins with arrival in Pune, where a tour representative of Footloose Holidays will be waiting for you with a vehicle. He will welcome you and drive straight to Bhimashankar, your first destination in your 12 Jyotirlinga tour. On arrival, check into the hotel. Visit Bhimashankar Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Admire the natural beauty of the temple’s surroundings. After darshan, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

• Day 2: Bhimashankar - Shirdi - Shani Shingnapur - Aurangabad

  Have your breakfast and depart for Aurangabad. En route, you will be visiting Shirdi and Shani Shingnapur. Shirdi is a famous pilgrimage destination and home to the revered spiritual leader Sai Baba. Shingnapur is a village, also known as “the village with no doors and locks”. After darshan at Shirdi Sai Baba Temple and Shani Shingnapur Temple, head to Aurangabad. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Aurangabad.

• Day 3: Aurangabad - Grishneshwar Temple - Nashik

  After breakfast, head to Nashik. Enroute, visit the Grishneshwar Temple. It is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva and a UNESCO World Heritage site. After darshan, continue your journey to Nashik. On arrival, check into the hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Nashik.

• Day 4: Nashik - Trimbakeshwar - Mumbai

  After breakfast, check out of the hotel and leave for Mumbai. Mumbai is approx. 170 km from Nashik. En route, you will visit the sacred shrine of Trimbakeshwar Temple, a Jyotirlinga of lord Shiva, located just 20 km from Nashik. Trimbakeshwar Temple is situated near the origin of the Godavari River. After darshan, continue your journey to Mumbai. Upon arrival, the driver will take you to the pre-booked hotel. Check in for an overnight stay.

• Day 5: Mumbai - Porbandar - Dwarka - Porbandar

  After an early breakfast in the hotel, check out. Our tour representative will drop you off at the Mumbai Airport. Fly to Porbandar from Mumbai. Upon arrival, a trained chauffeur with a four-wheeler will be waiting for you. He will drive you straight to the hotel. Check into the hotel and get ready to visit Dwarka. You will visit Nageshwar Jyotirlinga Temple. The temple premises house a huge 25 m (82 feet) tall statue of Lord Shiva. Alongside the darshan of Lord Shiva, you will explore the beautiful gardens and ponds in the site. After darshan, return to Porbandar. Dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.

• Day 6: Porbandar - Somnath - Porbandar

  Relish a hearty breakfast in the hotel and get ready for your next destination on the 12 Jyotirlinga tour. Our tour representative will drive you to Somnath Temple. This is a Jyotirlinga of Lord Shiva and is believed to be the first amongst all 12 Jyotirlingas. Apart from its religious significance, the temple is an architectural wonder. It is situated at the confluence of three rivers, which makes it a significant site for Hindus. After darshan and puja, return to your hotel in Porbandar for dinner and overnight stay.

• Day 7: Porbandar - Indore - Ujjain

  Today, you will leave for Ujjain. Upon completing the check-out formalities at the hotel, our chauffeur will drop you off at the Airport to fly to Indore. Upon arrival in Indore, our tour representative will welcome you. He will drive you straight to Ujjain from Indore, which will take around 1.5 hours. On arrival, check into the hotel and relax. In the evening, visit Harsiddhi Temple and attend Aarti. Explore the Mahakal Corridor, which looks mesmerizing at night when illuminated with colorful lights. Return to the hotel and stay overnight.

• Day 8: Ujjain Mahakaleshwar - Omkareshwar

  Early morning at 4 am, visit the Mahakaleshwar Temple to attend the Bhasma Aarti. Visit the other sacred sites, like Bade Ganeshji Temple and Kal Bhairava Temple. Return to your hotel for breakfast and check out. Our representative will drive you to Omkareshwar. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and freshen up. Visit the Omkareshwar Temple, another sacred Jyotirlinga in Madhya Pradesh. The temple is set on an island on the banks of the river Narmada. Attend the evening Aarti and return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

• Day 9: Omkareshwar to Indore - Hyderabad - Srisailam

  Wake up early and visit the Omkareshwar Temple to watch the early Abhishekam of the Jyotirlinga. Later, our tour representative will drive you to Indore. Board your flight to Hyderabad. Upon arrival at Hyderabad Airport, our tour representative will welcome and greet you. He will drive you to Srisailam, where the Mallikarjuna Jyotirlinga Temple is situated. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and go for darshan at Mallikarjuna Temple. Attend the evening Aarti before returning to the hotel. Overnight stay in Srisailam.

• Day 10: Srisailam - Hyderabad

  Check out of the hotel and head to Hyderabad. If you wish, you can visit the Mallikarjuna Temple in the early morning before leaving for Hyderabad. Upon arrival in Hyderabad, check into the hotel and relax. You can visit the Salarjung Museum, Charminar, and explore the markets. Overnight stay in Hyderabad.

• Day 11: Hyderabad - Madurai - Rameshwaram

  Have your breakfast and check out of the hotel. Our tour representative will transfer you to the Hyderabad Airport to board your flight to Madurai. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by our tour manager, who will drive you straight to Rameshwaram. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and freshen up. You will visit Shri Arulmigu Ramanathaswamy Temple, which is a Jyotirlinga of lord Shiva. The temple is renowned for its imposing structure, long corridor, and aesthetically carved pillars. Complete puja rituals and darshan and return to your hotel. Overnight stay in Rameshwaram.

• Day 12: Rameshwaram - Madurai - Delhi

  Wake up early and visit Ramanathaswamy Temple to attend the morning ritual called Mani Darshan or Spatika Lingam Darshan. After this, return to your hotel and have breakfast. Check out and leave for Delhi. Our tour representative will drive you to Madurai from Rameshwaram and drop you off at the Madurai Airport. Board your Delhi flight. Upon arrival, the Footloose Holidays’ tour representative will welcome you and transfer you to the hotel. Check into the hotel and relax. Explore Delhi’s market and a few historical spots like Qutub Minar and India Gate. Overnight stay in Delhi.

• Day 13: Delhi - Haridwar

  Have an early breakfast and check out of the hotel. head to Haridwar, a renowned pilgrimage destination in India. Check into the hotel and explore Haridwar. Visit the Har Ki Pauri Ghat and revered temples, like Mansa Devi and Chandi Devi. You will even enjoy a cable car ride to reach these temples perched on a hilltop (at your own cost). In the evening, attend the Ganga Aarti. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

• Day 14: Haridwar - Guptkashi

  Enjoy your breakfast and check out of the hotel. Drive to Guptkashi, which is nestled in the Mandakini river valley in Uttarakhand. This beautiful town is on the route to Kedarnath. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and relax. Visit the ancient Vishwanath Temple that resembles the Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi and admire the picturesque landscapes of Guptkashi. Overnight stay at the hotel in Guptkashi.

• Day 15: Guptkashi - Phata - Kedarnath - Phata - Guptkashi

  Leave early for Kedarnath today. It is one of the most revered temples in the Himalayas and a Jyotirlinga of Lord Shiva. The driver will drop you off at Phata to board your helicopter to Kedarnath. Upon arrival, you will have to take a short trek to reach the main shrine. After Darshan, head back to Phata Helipad to board your helicopter to Guptkashi. Our tour representative will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel. Overnight stay in Guptkashi.

• Day 16: Guptkashi - Haridwar - Varanasi

  After breakfast, check out of the hotel and head to Haridwar to board your train to Varanasi. The overnight journey will be on the train.

• Day 17: Arrival at Varanasi

  Upon arrival at Varanasi Railway Station, our representative will welcome and greet you. He will escort you to the pre-booked hotel. Check in and relax. In the evening, attend the surreal spectacle of Ganga Aarti at the Dashashwamedh Ghat. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

• Day 18: Varanasi Sightseeing and Train to Deoghar

  Wake up early and experience an early morning boat ride on the Ganges. This would be one of the most surreal experiences for tourists to witness the Ganges Aarti at the crack of dawn. You will see the rituals at the ghat and then visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple. One of the revered temples and a Jyotirlinga of Lord Shiva. Return to the hotel for breakfast and check out. If time permits, you will visit Sarnath. Later, our tour representative will drop you off at the Varanasi Railway Station. You will board your train to Deoghar from Varanasi. Overnight journey on the train.

• Day 19: Deoghar - Baidyanath - Basukinath

  After reaching Deoghar, you will be welcomed by the Footloose Holidays tour representative. He will transfer you to the pre-booked hotel. Check in and get ready for the temple visit. Your first destination is the Baidyanath Temple, a revered temple and one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of lord Shiva, located in the Jharkhand state. With the darshan of Baba Baidyanath Dham, you will conclude your 12 Jyotirlinga tour in Deoghar. Also visit Basukinath Temple, which is just 46 km from Deoghar. After darshan, return to your hotel in Deoghar for dinner and overnight stay.

• Day 20: Deoghar Departure

  On your final day, visit the Baidyanath temple for one last time to attend morning Aarti, then do some shopping for souvenirs. Have your breakfast in the hotel and check out. The Footloose Holidays tour representative will drop you off at the Railway Station or Airport to board your train/flight to your home or your onward journey.
