Itinerary Details

• Day 1: Arrive Delhi

  On the first day of your India wildlife tour, you will arrive in Delhi. You will be welcomed by the Footloose Holidays tour representative, who will escort you to the pre-booked hotel in Delhi. Check into the hotel and relax. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Delhi.

• Day 2: Delhi Sightseeing

  Relish a hearty breakfast and get ready to embark on a day tour of Delhi. You will visit the prominent landmarks and famous tourist attractions in Delhi, including Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat, India Gate, President’s House, Qutub Minar, and Humayun’s Tomb. You will be driven back to the hotel by evening for dinner and a well-deserved rest. Overnight stay in Delhi.

• Day 3: Delhi - Jaipur

  Begin your day with a delicious breakfast and check out of the hotel. Our tour representative will transfer you to Jaipur by road. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and relax. In the second half of the day, explore the Pink City Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. Explore the main attractions of the city —Jantar Mantar, City Palace, and Hawa Mahal. End your day shopping for artificial jewelry, traditional Rajasthani attire, and mojari. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

• Day 4: Jaipur - Ranthambore

  Early morning visit to Amber Fort, located on the outskirts of Jaipur. Return to the hotel to have your breakfast and check out. Our tour representative will drive you to Ranthambore National Park. On arrival, check into the guesthouse/resort/hotel. Overnight stay at your resort in Ranthambore.

• Day 5: Ranthambore National Park Safari

  Have your breakfast in the hotel/resort and get ready to embark on a morning jeep safari in Ranthambore National Park. It is one of the world’s most prominent tiger reserves, a sanctuary for the royal Bengal Tigers. This tiger reserve is spread over an area of 275 km2. So, you will spend the evening and morning Safari at this national park. Return to your resort for dinner and an overnight stay.

• Day 6: Ranthambore - Bharatpur

  On the sixth day of your India wildlife tour, you will head to your next destination—Bharatpur. Begin your day by relishing a hearty breakfast at the hotel/resort and check out. Head to Bharatpur. On arrival, check into the hotel and relax. In the afternoon, visit Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary to watch a myriad of bird species. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

• Day 7: Bharatpur - Agra

  Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and check out. The Footloose Holiday tour representative will drive you to Agra. En route, visit Fatehpur Sikri, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Continue your journey to Agra. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and relax. In the afternoon, get ready to visit the iconic Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Return to the hotel for dinner. Overnight stay in Agra.

• Day 8: Agra - Umaria - Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve

  It is said that witnessing the Taj Mahal at Dawn is a unique experience on its own. So, visit the Taj Mahal early in the morning and return to the hotel for breakfast and check out. Later, our tour representative will transfer you to the Railway Station to board your train to Umaria in Madhya Pradesh. Overnight on board.

• Day 9: Arrive Umaria - Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve

  Upon arrival at Umaria railway station, you will be greeted by the tour representative of Footloose Holidays. He will transfer you to Bandhavgarh National Park, where you will check into the resort. Spend the day at leisure or take a stroll around. Overnight stay and dinner will be at the resort in Bandhavgarh.

• Day 10: Bandhavgarh National Park Safari

  Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and proceed for a jeep safari at Bandhagarh National Park. The park is known for its high tiger population. Along with royal Bengal tigers in the park, you may get a chance to witness leopards, deer, and other animals. Enjoy morning and evening safari at the park to see tigers and other animals in their natural habitat. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

• Day 11: Bandhavgarh National Park Safari

  Today, also enjoy a morning and evening jeep/elephant safari to the national park. Overnight at the Resort.

• Day 12: Bandhavgarh - Khajuraho

  After breakfast, check out of the hotel. Our tour representative will drive you to Khajuraho, known for its group of monuments and Hindu and Jain temples. Upon arrival, check into the hotel. Later, visit the famous Khajuraho Group of Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, featuring intricate carvings and erotic sculptures. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

• Day 13: Khajuraho - Varanasi

  Have your breakfast at the hotel and check out. Our tour representative will transfer you to the airport to board your flight to Varanasi (extra cost). Upon arrival, our tour representative will receive you and transfer you to the hotel. Check into the hotel and freshen up. Embark on a temple tour of Varanasi and visit the iconic Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Also, watch Ganga Aarti at the Dashashwamedh Ghat. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

• Day 14: Varanasi Departure

  Early morning boat ride on the holy Ganges to witness the beautiful spectacle of Ganga Aarti at dawn. Then return to the hotel for breakfast and check out. Our tour representative will drop you at the Airport or Railway Station to board your flight/train back home or your onward journey.
