It means that the people here are followers of 29 principles specified by Guru Jambheshwar. He also gave the message to protect trees 540 years ago. This has made the Bishnoi people very different from others for their unmatched love for nature & animals.   • Itinerary 2 Jaswant Thada - Mehrangarh Fort - Mandore Garden - Sadar Market

    Jaswant Thada is a beautiful monument located in Jodhpur. It is built in the memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II by his son Maharaja Sardar Singh in the year 1899. This unique mausoleum is built by using complexly carved sheets of marble. The Mehrangarh Fort is one of the largest in India. It was built in the year 1460 by Rao Jodha & is situated 125 meters above the city. It has 7 gates & is enclosed by imposing thick walls. Mandore is located 9 km north of Jodhpur. The Mandore Gardens are definitely a visual delight due to the architecture & natural surroundings. The Sardar Market is situated near the Clock Tower in Jodhpur. Spend a great time shopping for local artifacts, textile, silver items & other products. Return back to the hotel & spend leisure time there.

  • Itinerary 3 Jodhpur - Osian

    Osian is a village in the north of Jodhpur. You will be picked by us from your hotel in Jodhpur. The excursion is of 65 km & takes just a little bit more than an hour and a half. Osian was a Brahmanical center & a place for Jainism to flourish as well. All the medieval temples & architecture give evidence of the same. It was a great trading center between 8th to 12th centuries. The wealth of the residents here made them build great artistic temples & structures here. Now, the place has become & great tourist spot. After the trip to Osian, you will return back to the hotel in Jodhpur. Spend the time at leisure.
