Day 1: Jammu - Katra (50 kms / 2 hours)
Upon arrival at Jammu Airport or Railway Station, the Footloose Holidays tour representative will welcome you. He will drive you straight to Katra, where the Mata Vaishno Devi Temple is located. You will enjoy the scenic views enroute. It takes approx. 2 hrs. to reach Katra from Jammu. After reaching, check into the pre-booked hotel. You can either spend the overnight stay at the hotel or start your trek to the Vaishno Devi Temple on the night itself.

Day 2: Katra (Darshan Mata Vaishno Devi Temple)
Start early at 5-6 am for your trek to the Mata Vaishno Devi Temple, situated in the Trikuta Hills at an altitude of 5,200 feet above sea level. The trek is approx. 14 km from the base camp in Katra to the main Bhawan of the temple. You will go through multiple check-posts and start your trek from Ban Ganga. You can even reach the Bhawan by helicopter, which you must pre-book from the official website of the shrine board. For visiting the Bhairon Nath Temple, you can use the rope way and its tickets are available at the real time. The trek may take 8-9 hours (one side), depending on an individual’s pace. After darshan, return to the hotel and relax.

Day 3: Katra to Jammu (45kms/ 2hrs drive)
Have your breakfast in the morning and check out of the hotel. The Footloose Holidays tour representative will drive you back to Jammu from Katra and drop you at the Airport or Railway station. The tour ends here!
