• Day 1: Arrival in Athens

  Welcome to Athens, the historical capital of Greece and birthplace of democracy. The city is renowned for its ancient landmarks, including the Acropolis and the Parthenon. At the same time, it also offers a fine blend of rich history and vibrant modern life. You will also find here a unique mix of archaeological wonders, lively neighborhoods, and Mediterranean charm.

  Upon arrival at Athens Airport, a representative or tour manager from Footloose Holidays will meet and greet you. The representative will then drive you to a local restaurant for dinner. Then, continue your drive to reach your pre-booked hotel. Check in and freshen up. Overnight stay at the hotel in Athens.

• Day 2: Athens - Mykonos

  Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Thereafter, embark on a half-day guided city tour of Athens. Proceed to the Acropolis, an ancient citadel located on a rocky outcrop above the city of Athens. It also serves as a cultural and religious center in the city. See the Propylaea, the classical Greek Doric structure that served as the grand ceremonial entrance to Athens’ Acropolis. See the Temple of Athena Nike, dedicated to the Goddesses Athena and Nike. Also, see the Parthenon (a famous marble temple on the Acropolis) and Erechtheion, an asymmetrical, ancient Greek Ionic temple on the north side of the Acropolis. Explore the Acropolis Museum, which is home to thousands of classical antiquities.

  After exploring the Acropolis of Athens, visit other important landmarks, including the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Parliament, the Presidential Palace, the Panathenaic Stadium, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Zappeion, and the historic Athens Trilogy.

  Later, our representative will transfer you to the port for the ferry to Mykonos. It will take approximately 3 hours of your time. On arrival in Mykonos, enjoy a dinner at a local restaurant before checking into your pre-booked hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel in Mykonos.

• Day 3: Mykonos Sightseeing

  Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Thereafter, set out for a guided tour of Mykonos. Visit the traditional village of Ano Mera and Panagia Tourliani, the most important monastery of Mykonos. Thereafter, proceed to the Armenistis Lighthouse. This iconic sight of Mykonos Island was built in 1891 as a tribute to the rich maritime history. Enjoy the panoramic views of the island and the Aegean. Relax at Kalo Livadi, renowned for its clear waters and sandy beach. And stop by the lively Paradise Beach. Return to the hotel in the evening before heading to dinner. • Day 4: Mykonos - Santorini

  Enjoy a delicious breakfast at the hotel. Then, embark on a walking tour of Mykonos town. Take a delightful stroll in its narrow lanes, admire the charming Little Venice quarter, and photograph the iconic windmills. Later, our representative will transfer you to the port for the ferry to Santorini. Upon arrival, you will be taken directly to a restaurant for dinner. Thereafter, check into your pre-booked hotel. • Day 5: Santorini - Full Day Tour of Traditional Villages

  Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Proceed to explore Santorini’s traditional villages. Visit a local winery and sample some of their offerings. Then, continue to Megalochori and Pyrgos. Both villages are rich in and famous for their Cycladic charm. Stop at the Monastery of Prophet Elias, the island’s highest point. The sweeping views will mesmerize you. In the evening, travel to Oia village. Upon arrival, witness its world-famous sunset over the caldera. Enjoy a sumptuous dinner at a local restaurant before returning to the hotel in Santorini. • Day 6: Santorini - Santorini Fira walking tour | Optional tour Santorini - 3 Islands Caldera Cruise (at additional cost)

  Take your breakfast at the hotel. Thereafter, take a guided walking tour of Fira, the capital of Santorini. Stroll along whitewashed alleys, visit the Orthodox Metropolitan Cathedral and the Catholic Cathedral, and admire the cliffside views of the caldera. In the afternoon, take an optional excursion. Enjoy a six-hour cruise to the volcanic islands of Nea Kameni and Palea Kameni. Walk the crater and swim in the hot springs. Then, the cruise will take you to Thirasia. • Day 7: Santorini - Athens

  Post breakfast, check out of your hotel. Then, our representative will transfer to the port or airport for your journey back to Athens. • Day 8: Athens - Departure
