Day 1: Delhi to Katra
Upon arrival in Delhi, a tour representative of Footloose Holidays will welcome you. He will drive you to Katra from Delhi. You can even travel to Katra by a Volvo bus. The overnight journey will be by private car or a Volvo. Katra serves as the base camp of the revered shrine of Vaishno Mata Mandir. It is located only 43 km from Jammu.

Day 2: Katra to Vaishno Devi Temple
Upon reaching Katra, our representative will transfer you to the pre-booked hotel in Katra. Check into the hotel and relax. Freshen up by the evening and get ready to embark on the spiritual journey to Mata Vaishno Devi. Most pilgrims start their trek at night so that they will reach the shrine by early morning. The trek distance from the base camp, called Ban Ganga, to the main Bhawan is approx. 14 km and takes 7-8 hours, depending on the pilgrim’s pace. Pilgrims even book a helicopter to reach the temple, but they must book the tickets in advance from the official website of the shrine board. Day 3: Vaishno Devi to Katra
By the morning, you will reach the main Bhawan of the temple. Attend morning Aarti and visit the Garba Gufa to seek Mata’s blessings. Next, visit to Bhairon Nath Temple, which is only 1.5 km from the main Bhawan. You can either trek, hire a Pony/Palki, or book the cable car ride to reach the Bhairon Nath Temple. After darshan, return to the hotel by evening. Dinner and overnight stay will be in the hotel.

Day 4: Katra to Delhi
After breakfast, check out of the hotel. The Footloose Holidays tour representative will drive you back to Delhi. Or, you will board your Volvo bus to Delhi. The tour ends here!
