Itinerary Details

  • Day 1: Arrival in Rome (Italy)

    Welcome to Rome! Upon arrival at Rome Fiumicino Airport, a friendly representative from Footloose Holidays will meet and greet you and assist with the transfer to your pre-booked accommodation. Check in at the hotel. Freshen up and unwind.

    Later, enjoy a guided tour of Rome. The sightseeing tour includes:

    • Trevi Fountain: The largest Baroque fountain in Rome and one of the most renowned fountains in the world.
    • Piazza Venezia: The central hub of Rome. See Mussolini’s Balcony – a place where the fascist dictator gave some of his most famous speeches, including declaring war on Britain and France.
    • Roman Forum: A rectangular forum in the heart of Rome, surrounded by ruins of ancient government buildings. See the statue of Julius Caesar (a cremation site where his remains were buried and a temple built atop the site).
    • Tibet River: The third longest river in Italy.
    • Colosseum: See the Colosseum (also known as Flavian Amphitheatre) from the outside. Enjoy photography in the backdrop of the structure.

    After the sightseeing tour in Rome, return to your accommodation. Have dinner and a restful overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 2: Rome - Vatican City (Vatican) - Pisa (Italy)

    Have a relaxed breakfast and then check out of the hotel in Rome. Later, proceed to Vatican City, the smallest country in the world and home to the Pope, the Holy See. Upon arrival in Vatican City, visit St. Peter’s Basilica, the largest church in the world. It is an Italian Renaissance church and an important pilgrimage site. Enjoy photography here and then proceed to visit the Vatican Museums. If time permits, also see the Sistine Chapel in the Apostolic Palace, the official residence of the Pope.

    Later, travel to Pisa (Italy). Stop at the Leaning Tower of Piss and marvel at its structure. Enjoy photography here. Later, explore the Square of Miracles (Piazza dei Miracoli) — a significant center of European medieval art and one of the world’s finest architectural complexes. After sightseeing in Pisa, our representative will transfer you to the pre-booked hotel. Freshen up and relax. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 3: Pisa - Venice - Vicenza (Italy)

    Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Drive to the romantic city of Venice. Enjoy a boat ride to St. Mark’s Square. Visit the St. Mark’s Basilica and marvel at its stunning façade from outside. Visit the St Mark’s Campanile, the Bell Tower of St. Mark’s Basilica. After sightseeing at St. Mark’s Square, head to the Bridge of Sighs, an enclosed white limestone bridge with windows with stone bars, passing over the Rio di Palazzo to the New Prison to the interrogation rooms in the Doge’s Palace. Thereafter, proceed to Murano, an island near Venice. Witness the glassblowing demonstration. Return by boat and then proceed to Vincenza. On arrival, check into your pre-booked hotel. Freshen up and relax. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

  • Day 4: Vicenza - Lucerne (Switzerland)

    After breakfast, check out of your hotel in Vicenza (Italy) and then proceed to Switzerland. This journey is a unique experience as you pass through the stunning Alps. On arrival in Lucerne (Switzerland), our representative will transfer you to your pre-booked hotel. Freshen up and relax. Later, embark on an orientation tour of Lucerne, one of Switzerland’s most charming cities. Visit Chapel Bridge (Kapellbrücke), a covered wooden footbridge spanning the river Reuss diagonally in the city. See the beautiful interior paintings dating back to the 17th century inside the bridge. Next, visit the Lion Monument, honoring the Swiss Guards killed in 1792 during the French Revolution. Thereafter, head to Lake Lucerne – the Lake of Four Forested Settlements. It is one of the popular tourist sites and the fourth largest lake in Switzerland. Take a stroll alongside the lake and then proceed to Old Town. Explore the ornately decorated houses with stunning facades. See the Lucerne Town Hall and the painted Pfistern guildhall on Kornmarkt Square. Return to your hotel for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

  • Day 5: Excursion to Mount Titlis

    After breakfast, take an exhilarating full-day excursion to Mount Titlis, a mountain of the Uri Alps. This is the famous site of Rotair, the world’s first rotating cable car. Ride the revolving cable car and witness the spectacular views of the snow, mountains, and glacier. Have fun activities on the glacier and then enjoy the Ice Flyer ride (subject to weather permission). Return to Lucerne by evening and enjoy leisure time at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Lucerne.

  • Day 6: Lucerne - Interlaken - Jungfraujoch - Lucerne

    Check out of the hotel after breakfast. Then head towards Interlaken via a scenic train journey. Nestled between Lakes Thun and Brienz, Interlaken is a scenic stop you should explore on your trip. During this journey, you will see stunning views of lakes and mountains.

    Take a train to Lauterbrunnen and then enjoy a Cogwheel train ride to reach Jungfraujoch via the spectacular Kleine Scheidegg Mountain pass.

    Alternatively, you can take a train to Grindelwald Terminal and then the Eiger Express gondola to Eigergletscher station. Switch to the Jungfrau Railway to reach the final stop, Jungfraujoch, Europe’s highest railway station.

    On arrival, enjoy sightseeing in Jungfraujoch. Visit the Sphinx – one of the highest observatories in the world. Take the elevator to the Sphinx Observation Deck and see the panoramic views of the Aletsch Glacier, Jungfrau, and Mönch peaks.

    Then, visit the Ice Palace and immerse yourself in the enchanting palace, carved out of the glacier itself. Witness the various ice sculptures at this iconic Ice Palace. Visit the Lindt Swiss Chocolate Heaven – the themed chocolate shop on the Jungfraujoch. Buy some delicious treats.

    In the evening, descend from Jungfraujoch. Enjoy the scenery on the cogwheel train ride back to Grindelwald Terminal or Lauterbrunnen. Continue by train to Interlaken and then to your hotel in Lucerne. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

  • Day 7: Lucerne - Bern - Vevey - Geneva

    Have your breakfast and then check out of the hotel in Lucerne. Catch a train from Lucerne to Bern, the capital of Switzerland. On arrival, our representative will receive you and take you on a sightseeing tour. Explore the Old City of Bern — a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for medieval architecture, arcaded walkways, and several fountains. Also, visit the Zytglogge Clock Tower, the Parliament Building, the Bear Pit, and the Bern Minster (Cathedral). Enjoy your lunch at a traditional Swiss Restaurant in Bern’s Old City.

    In the afternoon, proceed to Vevey by train. On arrival in Vevey, indulge in sightseeing activities. Explore the picturesque town on the shores of Lake Geneva. See the statue of Charlie Chaplin, a famous resident, located along the lake. Admire “The Fork”, a giant stainless steel fork sculpture in Lake Geneva near the Alimentarium. And enjoy a walk along the scenic lakeside promenade, Quai Perdonnet. Late afternoon, board a train from Vevey to Geneva. On arrival in Geneva, our representative will transfer you to your pre-booked hotel. Freshen up and relax. In the evening, enjoy an evening walk along the shores of Lake Geneva to see the Jet d’Eau (water jet) lit up at night. Later, enjoy dinner at one of Geneva’s restaurants. Stay overnight at the hotel in Geneva.

  • Day 8: Geneva - Paris (France)

    Enjoy a final Swiss breakfast at the hotel and then get ready to travel to your next country, France. Our representative will transfer you to the main train station in Geneva, located in the city center. The station is extremely beautiful with impressive glass and steel architecture. Board the high-speed train to Paris Gare de Lyon. On arrival, our representative will meet you and transfer you to your pre-booked hotel in Paris in a private car. Freshen up and relax. Have lunch at a local Parisian bistro or café. Thereafter, enjoy the rest of the day at leisure or enjoy some sightseeing. You can visit the famous Louvre Museum, where you have the chance to see the art world and masterpieces like the Mona Lisa. You can also visit the iconic Eiffel Tower for photos and enjoy a stroll in the surrounding Champ de Mars gardens. In the evening, enjoy a Seine River Cruise and admire the city’s illuminated monuments and bridges. Later, have your dinner at a restaurant to have a memorable Parisian dining experience. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

  • Day 9: Paris - Versailles - Optional Lido Show

    Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Thereafter, head to the Palace of Versailles by RER C train from central Paris stations like Saint-Michel Notre-Dame, Musée d’Orsay, or Champ de Mars Tour Eiffel. Explore the magnificent Gardens of Versailles, designed by André Le Nôtre. Wander through the meticulously manicured lawns, admire the statues, fountains, and ornamental ponds. Enjoy lunch at one of the restaurants or cafes within the Palace grounds or in the town of Versailles. Thereafter, take the RER C train back to Paris. Relax at the hotel or enjoy the free time shopping. Enjoy dinner at a Parisian restaurant and then proceed to experience the glitz and glamour of a traditional Parisian cabaret show – Lido or Moulin Rouge Cabaret Show. An overnight stay will be at the hotel in Paris.

  • Day 10: Full-Day at Paris Disneyland

    Have a relaxed breakfast at the hotel and then spend the entire day at Disneyland Paris. Visit the Disneyland Park, the original park. Enjoy the classic Disney themes, Sleeping Beauty’s castle, and iconic rides like Big Thunder Mountain. Have a classic fairytale experience with beloved characters. You can also visit the Walt Disney Studios Park. Enjoy movies, animation, and thrilling experiences. Enjoy the Pixar films or prefer high-thrill rides. Don’t miss the Disney Stars on Parade, a highlight of Disneyland Park, featuring vibrant floats and your favorite Disney characters. Enjoy the show, The Lion King: Rhythms, at the Disneyland Park.   • Day 11: Departure from Paris

    Enjoy the final breakfast of your Swiss, Paris, and Italy Tour. Check out of the hotel. A Footloose Holidays representative will assist you with airport transfer. Board your flight home with unforgettable memories of your Switzerland, France, and Italy tour.
